Student Code of Conduct

Strict No-No’s for Interns
By accepting a TeenInterns internship, students agree to the following standards. Every point is 1. because, they are all important and should be followed.

No Bullying – Zero Tolerance
Students must not:

Mock or insult peers.

Exclude teammates deliberately.
-
Make discriminatory remarks (religion, gender, background, etc.).
-
Spread rumors.
-
Engage in online harassment.
-
Use sarcasm to humiliate others.
Even “jokes” that make someone uncomfortable are unacceptable.
Violation may lead to immediate removal.

Respect Mentors and Supervisors
Students must:

Communicate respectfully at all times.
-
Follow instructions sincerely.
-
Ask questions politely.
-
Accept feedback without argument or attitude.
-
Maintain professional tone in messages and emails.
Disrespect, eye-rolling (offline), aggressive tone, or dismissive replies are not acceptable.
Internship = professional space.

No Plagiarism or Cheating
Students must not:

Copy work from the internet.
-
Submit AI-generated work without understanding it.
-
Claim someone else’s work as their own.
-
Fake research data.
-
Fabricate hours worked.
If AI tools are used, they must be used responsibly and transparently.
Integrity matters more than perfection.

No Ghosting or Irresponsible Withdrawal
Students must not:

Disappear without notice.
-
Ignore mentor messages.
-
Miss deadlines repeatedly without communication.
-
Quit abruptly without informing the coordinator.
Professional communication is mandatory.

No Inappropriate Communication
Students must not:
-
Send late-night personal messages to mentors.
-
Overshare personal matters unrelated to internship.
-
Use informal slang in professional communication.
-
Share memes or irrelevant content in official groups.
-
Privately message peers in inappropriate ways.
All communication must remain professional.

No Misuse of Digital Platforms
Students must not:

Share internship materials publicly.
-
Leak confidential information.
-
Post screenshots of internal discussions.
-
Represent the company without permission.
-
Log in using another person’s credentials.
-

No Disrespect to Time
Students must:

Join meetings on time.
-
Keep camera on if required.
-
Inform in advance if absent via email teeninterns@ilmglobal.in, 6 hrs prior.

Submit work by deadlines.
Habitual lateness reflects poor professionalism.

No Misrepresentation
Students must not:

Lie about skills.
-
Exaggerate contribution.
-
Misstate role on their profile.
-
Claim completion without finishing tasks.

No Emotional Drama in Professional Settings
Students must not:

Create conflict for attention.
-
React defensively to constructive criticism.
-
Engage in group gossip.
-
Form cliques.
Professional maturity is expected.

What happens if an intern violates any of the above?
Depending on severity:

Warning
-
Written Notice to student ( parent & school kept in the loop )

Internship Termination
-
Withholding Certificate
-
Restriction from future programs
One Clear Standard
Internships are professional environments. Students are expected to behave like young professionals, not school classmates.
