About the Internship

The richly symbolic word “PRAJNA” means ‘awakened consciousness’ or ‘enlightened awareness’ and symbolizes the equality of human being. Self-awareness and the holistic development of humans as individuals are the desirable aims of the Prajna Counselling Centre.

The vision of our centre is to build a society where human rights are respected and protected and every individual can live with dignity. Our desire is the rehabilitation and the protection of women and children, who are marginalized, exploited and distressed, through a process of awareness building and self-empowerment.
